For our Visitors and Guests

What can you expect when visiting West University Church of Christ?
You can expect a loving family to welcome you and accept you for who you are.  You can expect a service with a simple worship, simple message, and communion modeled after the teachings of the New Testament.  You can expect to walk out with a feeling of belonging, purpose, and direction.

Where should I park?
We have  parking in the front and back of the building, as well as on the sides of the building.  However, being in the West University area, parking is at a premium.  If you arrive and there are no spots, please park across Bissonnet Street in the office parking lot.  We have handicap accessible spots in the front of our building with handicap access.

What do I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable while you worship.

Where should I enter?
Most of our visitors enter through the auditorium doors on the western side of the building.  On Sunday nights and Wednesday nights, however, it is best to enter through the rear of the building in the door labeled "Kitchen".

What should I expect during worship?
Each week we, like the early church, share in the Lord's Supper, a time of remembering Christ's death and celebrating His resurrection. The Bible tells us we are to examine ourselves (I Cor 11:28) when we share this memorial feast. Believers are welcome to join us as we focus on the sacrifice Jesus made for us and the community He commissioned as His church. There is also a weekly offering. Your gift to us is your presence, contribution is for our members.

Our singing will be without instruments, our message will be from the Bible, and our focus will be directed towards God.

What will my children do while I'm in worship?
We offer two classes during the worship time.  All of our children ages 2-3 are invited to Little Lambs, and all of children ages 4-7 are invited to God's Flock.  We also have a nursery for children under 2.

At 9:30, we have class time offered to all children and teenagers, as well as adults.

How do I learn about becoming a member at West University Church of Christ?
One of our elders or one of our ministers would love to talk to you about placing membership with our congregation.
